Of the 5 Lindsay sisters, Elsie Lindsay Norwalk (#2 in the class picture) was older than the youngest, Marion Lindsay Whitney, and younger than the oldest, Edith Lindsay Pugh. The other 2 sisters were Elizabeth (Betty) Lindsay Tanner and Mildred (Millie) Lindsay Bowie. If someone can tell me the order of the 5 sisters, I will add it here. The East Frankfort School was on McGowan Rd (and maybe still is) off of Route 5s on the outskirts of Ilion, NY. "on the way to Frankfort." The car in the pictures tells us that that picture is 30-40 years newer than the others. Edith ("Aunt Ede") Lindsay Pugh later lived up the road from the school with her sons, Richard, Robert, and John. All three of them went to the school.
